Bell Times/Daily Schedule

The following is the daily school schedule and bell times at Rockwood Public School.

Parents are reminded that there is no school supervision on the school grounds before 9:05 a.m.

Please do not send your child to school before 9:05 a.m.

9:05 a.m.	buses start to arrive, student dropoffs
9:25 a.m.	Classes/school day begins (1^st Block)
11:25 a.m.	1st Nutritional Break
11:45 a.m.	Recess/Activity Break
12:05 p.m.	Classes Resume (2^nd Block)
1:35 p.m.	2nd Nutritional Break
1:55 p.m.	Recess/Activity Break
2:15 p.m.	Classes Resume (3^rd Block)
3:45 p.m.	Dismissal/Bus Loading

The bell rings at the beginning and end of each recess and lunch.

Dropping Off and Picking Up Your Child

If your child needs to be picked up during the day, please try to do so during the nutrition/activity blocks 11:25 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. and 1:35 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. to reduce classroom interruptions.

If you are picking your child up after school, please arrive within 10 minutes of our dismissal time. Students should meet you in the office area for pick-up.

Your child's safety is important to us. Please call the office before 2:30 p.m. to let us know you are picking your child up or send a note in your child's agenda if you are making alternate pick-up arrangements.

The bus area is for buses only during arrival (8:45 to 9:45) and dismissal (3:30-4:30) times. Please use the main doors by the office only and do not park in the bus turnaround area or between the "No Parking Bus Zone" signs.
